Why us

The Calm Option, and the Local One

Most companies come to us from one of two places: a small shop that was excellent until it got busy, or a national provider that got bought and stopped answering the way it used to.

We are built to be neither of those things. What follows is the whole argument, including the parts that will not suit everybody.

What that actually means

The same people, every time

You are not routed to whoever is free. The people who set your systems up are the people who support them, so nobody is reading your account cold at the worst possible moment. It is the single thing clients mention most when they tell us why they stayed.

A deliberately limited client roster

We take on what we can genuinely support. That is a commercial decision with a cost to us, and it is the reason the person who answers already knows your server room. It is also why we will tell you when we are not the right fit rather than taking the work anyway.

Documented, not improvised

What we did, why we did it, and what it depends on gets written down and kept current. Your business should not depend on one person's memory, including ours. It is also what makes every later decision cheaper, because nobody is rediscovering your network from scratch.

Plain English, every time

You get a recommendation and the reasoning behind it, in language you can repeat to your leadership team without translating it first. If a term needs explaining, we explain it rather than assuming you will look it up.

We tell you when the answer is no

Sometimes the honest answer is that you do not need what you are asking for, that your current provider is doing a reasonable job, or that a full agreement is more than your business needs. Saying so costs us a sale and keeps a relationship, which is the better trade.

Local in a way that changes the answer

Our staff live here and most of our clients are here, with others as far away as California. When something local genuinely needs a person on site, that person is already in the region rather than flying in. That changes what we can do on a Tuesday afternoon.

How the three compare

These are generalizations, but useful ones. Any given provider may be better or worse than its category.

What you getA small shopA national providerTech Dynamix
Who answers The owner, when free Whoever is on the queue People who know your systems
Documentation Often in one head Extensive, rarely shared Written down and yours
Depth of expertise Limited by headcount Deep but distant Deep where it matters here
Who sets priorities The owner A head office elsewhere People you can meet

We are part of this place

Our staff live here, and we put money and time into the region rather than only taking work out of it. Food bank donations, meals for local shelters, and giving to nonprofits across Northeast Ohio.

It is not a differentiator we would push hard in a sales conversation. It is just what being a local company should mean.

The values underneath all of it

Honest, Understanding, Methodical, Accountable, and Neighborly. Five words that decide how we behave when something has gone wrong, which is when values actually get tested.

Reviews and recognition

What other people say about us

The up-time of our network and servers is critical to our day-to-day operations. Tech Dynamix has been an intricate piece of our business by providing us with prompt and reliable services. Tech Dynamix can always be counted on to be there when we need them.

Automation solutions firm

Our clients review us publicly on Google. We would rather you read the whole set, including anything less flattering, than a quote we chose for ourselves.

What each one covers, and what it is worth

The questions people actually ask

Are you going to sell the company?

There is no plan to. Tech Dynamix is owner-operated, and the consolidation happening across this industry is precisely what a lot of our clients came here to get away from. We would rather say that plainly than let it be the unspoken question.

What happens if we outgrow you?

Some clients hire internally as they grow, and we move to working alongside that person rather than being replaced by them. If you genuinely reach a size where a different kind of provider suits you better, we will say so. Holding on to an account that has outgrown us serves nobody.
