Corsair Ventures LLC dba Tech Dynamix operates TechDynamix.com. This policy explains what the website collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information, and only two.

What you send us. When you complete a form on this site, we receive what you typed into it: your name, your email address, and whichever of your phone number, company name, company size, service interest, and timeline you chose to give us. If you apply for a job, we also receive your resume and anything you write in your cover letter.

What your browser reports. This website counts its own visits. When a page loads, it records which page, which site you followed a link from, any campaign tags on that link, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and your IP address. It sets no cookie for this and it does not follow you from one day to the next: visits made on the same day are tied together by a value derived from your address and your browser, and that value is regenerated every night, so tomorrow the same browser is somebody new to us. These records are kept for about thirteen months and then deleted. They stay on our own server.

What Google Analytics reports. This site also uses Google Analytics, which records the pages you visit, roughly where you are, and how you arrived. It sets cookies in your browser. We use it to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you.

What our visitor identification services report. This site uses two business visitor identification services on every page. Snitcher reads your IP address and how you move through the site, matches that against its database of business networks, and tells us which company a visit most likely came from. It identifies organizations, not you by name; see Snitcher's privacy policy. RB2B does the same at the company level and, for some United States visitors, goes further: through its data partners it can associate your visit with a named individual, including a work email address, and marketing may follow to that address. We disable RB2B for visitors whose browser reports a European time zone, so it does not run for visitors who appear to be in the EU, the UK, or the wider EEA. We use both services so our team can follow up with businesses that showed interest. They set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. To stop them recognizing you, block cookies for this site, use the RB2B opt-out links under "Your choices" below, or write to us and we will take care of it.

What you send to a company whose service we embed. Seven parts of this site are built by other companies and load from their systems rather than ours. They are named below, because a policy that says "third parties" without saying who is not telling you anything.

The services we embed, by name

These are the only companies whose code runs on this website. Each one is listed with what it does here, what it can see, and where its own privacy policy is, because what it does with your data is governed by that policy rather than by this one.

Calendly provides the booking calendar on our Schedule a Call page and on our Contact page. If you book a call, the name, email address, and anything else you type into the calendar go to Calendly as well as to us. The calendar is not loaded at all until you scroll to it, so on a visit where you never reach it, nothing is requested from them. See Calendly's privacy notice.
Trustindex provides the reviews panel on our home page, which displays our public Google reviews. It loads when the home page loads. See Trustindex's privacy policy.
EasyDMARC provides the domain scanner on our Email & Domain Security Score page. If you enter a domain there to scan it, that domain is sent to EasyDMARC to run the check against public DNS records. It loads only on that page. See EasyDMARC's privacy policy.
Snitcher is a business visitor identification service that runs on every page. It uses your IP address to tell us which company a visit came from, so we can follow up with businesses that showed interest. It sets a cookie in your browser and reports to Snitcher's servers. It identifies organizations, not individuals. See Snitcher's privacy policy.
RB2B is a visitor identification service that runs on every page. It tells us which companies, and for some United States visitors which individuals, have visited the site, so our team can follow up. It loads on each page and sets its own identifiers in your browser, and marketing can follow to an identified email address. We disable it for visitors whose browser reports a European time zone. Google Analytics tells us which pages are read and which links are used. It is described above. See Google's privacy policy.
Google Ads records when a visit that began with one of our advertisements ends in a phone call, a form, or a booking. That tells us which advertisements are worth paying for. It reports the fact of the action and the advertisement it followed, not what you typed. See Google's privacy policy.

One service does not run in your browser but does receive something about you. To turn an address into a town, we send visitor IP addresses to ipgeolocation.io, which answers with a place and the name of the network operator. We do this so that we can tell which parts of the region read this site, and it is the only thing we send them. See their privacy policy.

Simply opening a page that carries one of these lets that company see that your browser asked their servers for something, which includes your IP address, in the same way that visiting any website does. We do not send them anything about you ourselves.

The fonts and the icons are served from this website rather than from a font service, so reading a page here does not report you to one. There is no social media widget anywhere on the site, and no advertising network follows you from here to anywhere else. The Google Ads tag described above measures our own advertisements and nothing more.

What we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you, and to do the work if you become a client. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers who help us run the business, such as our email provider, and only to the extent they need it to do that job.

We keep inquiries for as long as they are commercially useful, and job applications for as long as the role is open plus a reasonable period after.

Cookies

This website sets a session cookie when you submit a form, which exists to protect that form against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser. It also remembers that you have seen the cookie notice, so that it is not shown to you on every page.

Any other cookies come from the seven companies named above: Snitcher on every page, RB2B on every page, Calendly on the booking and contact pages, Trustindex on the home page, EasyDMARC on the domain scanner page, Google Analytics, and Google Ads on pages reached from an advertisement.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to inquiry@techdynamix.com and we will deal with it.

You can block cookies in your browser. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Our visitor identification services run on every page. Snitcher works out the company a visit came from rather than naming you, and blocking cookies for this site keeps it from recognizing you. RB2B can also identify some individuals: to opt out of it and the marketing that can follow, visit app.retention.com/optout, or, if you are in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out. You can also write to us at the address above to ask what we hold or to have it deleted.

Children

This is a website for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
