Cloud & Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 Management

Your Microsoft 365 tenant was probably set up in a hurry by somebody who has since moved on, and nobody has looked inside it since.

We start by opening it up and telling you what is in there. Almost every tenant we inherit has licenses nobody uses, sharing settings nobody chose, and at least one active account belonging to somebody who left.

Then we configure it the way it should have been: security defaults on, multi-factor authentication enforced, sharing deliberate rather than accidental, and a real process for people joining and leaving.

Licensing is worth a proper look. Paying for a tier nobody uses is common, and so is paying business rates when non-profit or education pricing applies.

What this covers

  • A full review of what is configured and what you are paying for.
  • Security baseline, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access.
  • Entra ID managed properly, including joiners and leavers.
  • Sharing and external access set deliberately.
  • License optimization, with the savings shown to you.

Common questions

Can you take over a tenant somebody else set up?

Yes, and that is most of this work. The first step is always an audit, because inheriting a tenant without knowing what is in it means inheriting its problems silently.

Will changing settings disrupt our staff?

Some changes are noticeable, particularly turning on multi-factor authentication. We plan those, tell people in advance what to expect, and support them through it rather than switching it on and waiting for the phone to ring.
