Transportation

IT Services for Transportation & Logistics

Your operation is not one building. Dispatch, the yard, the warehouse, and the drivers need the same systems, and only one of them has a proper network.

What we see in transportation and logistics

Sites that were never built for this

Yards, docks, and warehouses need coverage across distances and through structures that office equipment was never designed for.

Dispatch cannot stop

When dispatch goes down, freight does not move, and the cost accumulates by the hour rather than by the day.

Everything talks to everything

Your TMS, your customers' systems, and your carriers' systems are all connected, and each connection is a dependency somebody has to own.

Scanners have to roam

A handheld that drops its connection between racking aisles creates a data problem that surfaces later, in the wrong place.

How we approach it

We survey the sites loaded rather than empty, because a warehouse full of stock behaves nothing like the same warehouse on a floor plan.

We build connectivity that fails gracefully. Where the operation justifies it, a second path means a cut circuit is a slow hour rather than a stopped day.

We treat the yard and the dock as first-class locations rather than as afterthoughts hanging off the office network.

The short version

Multi-site connectivity, warehouse wireless, and systems that keep moving when one location does not.

In their words

The up-time of our network and servers is critical to our day-to-day operations. Tech Dynamix has been an intricate piece of our business by providing us with prompt and reliable services. Tech Dynamix can always be counted on to be there when we need them.

Common questions

Can you cover an outdoor yard?

Yes. Outdoor coverage uses different equipment and different mounting, and weather and distance change the design, but it is routine work.

What happens if a site loses its connection?

That depends on what we designed. Where it is worth the cost, a second path takes over automatically. Where it is not, we make sure you know what stops and what keeps running, before it happens rather than during.

Do you support multiple locations?

Yes, and consistently. The same standards, the same documentation, and the same people, so a problem at the smallest site does not get a worse answer than one at head office.
