Disaster Recovery Planning
On the day something serious happens, nobody reads a plan for the first time. They follow one they already know, or they improvise.
We work out with you which systems your business genuinely cannot operate without, and for how long. That list is usually shorter than people expect and rarely in the order they would have guessed.
Then we write the plan: what gets recovered first, who does it, who is told, and what the business does in the meantime. It includes the unglamorous details that matter at the time, such as where the credentials are when the system that holds them is the one that is down.
A plan nobody has walked through is a document rather than a plan, so we walk through it with the people who would actually be doing it.

Common questions
Is this the same as having backups?
No. Backup is the copy of the data. The plan is what people do with it while the business is not running. Having the first without the second is how a recoverable outage still turns into a lost week.
Does a business our size need a formal plan?
It needs a plan. It does not need a large document. For most businesses this size the useful version is a few pages somebody could follow under pressure, and cyber insurers increasingly ask whether one exists.
